Terms built on clear expectations.
How the pilot works, where its limits are, and what must be confirmed before paid subscriptions.
The legal entity, registered address, support and grievance contacts, retention/deletion process, and commercial policy require operator and qualified Indian legal review. No placeholder below should appear on a launched paid service.
Operator and agreement
These terms govern access to Clueotter, a research workspace for monitoring selected public website pages. The contracting operator and complaint channels must be completed before these terms are published for public subscriptions.
- Contracting operator
- Legal entity to be confirmed before launch
- Registered address
- Address to be confirmed before launch
- Support
- Support email to be confirmed before launch
- Grievance contact
- Grievance officer and email to be confirmed before launch
By creating an account, you confirm that you are at least 18 and can enter into this agreement for yourself or your organization. Mandatory rights under Indian law are not excluded by these terms.
The service and its limits
Clueotter records successful collections of selected public pages and compares later snapshots with earlier ones. Collection can fail, be blocked, or miss dynamic content. A detected change is evidence of what our collector observed at particular times, not proof of a competitor’s results or intentions. The sample workspace is illustrative, not live market data.
Advertising libraries, broad social listening, browser rendering, and AI reports are not current production sources unless explicitly marked as connected in the product.
Accounts and team access
Provide accurate account details, verify your email, protect your password, and use only accounts you are authorized to access. Workspace owners are responsible for inviting and managing their members. Tell us promptly through the published support channel if you suspect unauthorized access.
Responsible use
Submit only public URLs you are allowed to monitor. Do not use the service to bypass access controls, collect private information unlawfully, attack a site, infringe rights, or exceed applicable website terms and law. We may limit collection or suspend access where necessary to prevent misuse, with notice where reasonably possible.
Trials, subscriptions, and cancellation
Plan limits and proposed INR prices are shown on Pricing. The pilot offers a seven-day, 100-check trial. Paid subscriptions require a separately authorized Razorpay checkout after the merchant account is configured. The checkout must show the final charge, applicable taxes, billing interval, and any recurring-payment authorization before you confirm it.
Where a paid subscription is active, the workspace billing control requests cancellation at the end of the current paid period; access continues until then unless law or a specific offer says otherwise. Refund eligibility, taxes, and invoicing need an operator-approved policy before live payments begin. Nothing here removes any non-waivable consumer remedy.
Your content and our product
You retain rights in the notes and information you contribute, subject to third-party rights. You permit us to host, process, and display that material only as needed to provide and secure the service. Clueotter’s software, branding, and original interface remain the operator’s or licensors’ property. A public page snapshot does not transfer ownership of the source page to you or to Clueotter.
Third-party services and availability
Website sources, email, hosting, sign-in, and payment providers may be unavailable or change their terms. We work to maintain the service but do not promise uninterrupted collection, complete coverage, or a particular commercial result. Planned features are not guaranteed deliverables.
Disputes and limits
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Clueotter is not responsible for decisions made solely from incomplete or misinterpreted competitor observations. Any exclusion or limit of liability must be interpreted without restricting non-waivable statutory or consumer rights. Before publication, the operator and counsel should approve a fair, specific liability clause and any governing-court location.
Indian law governs these terms, subject to any mandatory forum or remedy available under applicable consumer law. Contact the published support or grievance channel first so the operator can investigate a concern.
Changes and references
We should give reasonable notice of material changes to paid terms or the service, and record an effective date when these terms are approved for launch. The operator must review cancellation, refund, and complaint procedures before enabling paid subscriptions.
